Vinegar is basically shelf-stable indefinitely (see point above). However, it can happen that a light vinegar darkens over time. Cloudiness or sedimentation may also occur. These are natural processes, however, that do not negatively affect the quality of the vinegar. If a bottle is left standing for a long time after first opening, a loss of aroma must be expected with wine and herbal vinegars. Consumption of the vinegars remains absolutely safe. For an unclouded taste experience, we recommend storing the vinegar in a cool and dark place after first opening.
