Scope The following declaration applies to all works of Carl Kühne KG (GmbH & Co.) and includes all products manufactured and distributed by Carl Kühne KG. Terms Genetically modified organisms (GMOs) are organisms whose genetic material has been altered by molecular biological methods in a way that is not naturally possible through crossing or natural recombination (GenTG, Directive 2001/18/EC). Declaration • It is hereby declared that the products manufactured and distributed by Carl Kühne KG do not have to be labeled in accordance with EC Regulation 1829/2003 on genetically modified food and feed and EC Regulation 1830/2003 on the traceability and labeling of genetically modified organisms and the traceability of food and feed produced from genetically modified organisms, as well as the amendments to Directive 2001/18 EC. • The products manufactured and distributed by Carl Kühne KG do not contain GMOs within the meaning of the above-mentioned EU regulations, are not made from them, are not produced from GMOs, and do not contain ingredients (including additives and flavorings) produced from GMOs. Exceptions are accidental or technically unavoidable contaminations with genetically modified material up to a threshold of 0.9% based on the ingredient. • This declaration is made based on supplier declarations and specifications. • Should there be any future changes to this declaration, we will inform our customers in a timely manner about the changed circumstances.
